Anyone have any idea how you obtain these? I recall receiving them in the beta. One for your first public event gold of the day, which would take months to actually be able to purchase the legendary gear from vendors. I've done several public events getting gold and no vanguard marks. What am I missing?
Edit: My question just got answered. FYI, you need to be level 18.

Also, Gryff mentioned in another thread that you can exchange materials (spin metal, spirit bloom, etc.) for vanguard marks at a ratio of 50 mats to 5 marks at the vanguard quartermaster. I've been doing this all night. I always pick up a bunch while doing the daily 6 mission bounty.
