Well... It's a sad tale over on my end. I hit level 20. Shortly thereafter my Xbox live account became jacked and I haven't been able to log on to my account since. I took this whole week off for the game. Xbox live support says that they will have my account repaired within three days at the most. Twenty four hours if I'm lucky. DO YOU HEAR WHAT I'M SAYING?! ...
Sorry.. It just feels like I've wasted my vacation days. I've had an Xbox live account for years, and it waits until this week to get all jacked up? Balls!
and I hijacked my wife's account and leveled a hunter to twelve today. Or maybe it's eleven.
My account will eventually be fixed and I will stop singing the blues so hard.. I promise. Right now, I'm just trying to maintain some perspective. Seriously, my online video game service is not working and it is the end of the world!!! I guess my life is pretty good. Thanks for reading.

Thanks, Doc. It's now been 24 hours which is the minimum amount of time that they said it would take so now it's just a matter of checking my email all of the time in between crucible matches/missions/strikes/patrols.
On topic: I've got the hunter that I created on my wife's account to 12 now. I've got her vault loaded with like ten engrams. Also, that hunter it awesome! Knife throw is extremely satisfying.

Lvl 18 warlock I have been sticking to the original skill tree...anyone skilling the pretty subclass?
Also do you notice another open spot next to the other subclass???

I've hit 20 on my warlock, still maxing out the first subclass tree. Once that's done, I'm going to restart the campaign on level 20 difficulty with the other subclass and level that one. I finally hit lvl 21 tonight and got my first piece of exotic gear!!!!! It's a sniper rifle and I'll be everyone on my crucible team was super jelly

I got access to my account back and my Warlock is just about 21. No legendaries just yet.
I'm playing a Titan with my wife and I just got to 17. Titan is good times!

Im currently 24, have had horrible luck, and despite decrypting about a dozen purple engrams, don't have a single legendary yet. They all keep coming up blue...

Hit 22 last night with my warlock. Switched to my hunter and nudged up to 6. My titan still sits at 21. No legendaries or exotics. Maybe tonight, though.

Stuck at lvl 24 Hunter BladeDancer subclass for 2 days. Tough grinding out light-imbued armor. Just cracked 25, but my severe OCD has me constantly tinkering w/ my skilltree

20 Hunter 17 Warlock, just getting to Venus LOL. I would have progressed more but I had 6 bounties on the Moon that all worked together so well.. and after doing the first couple missions on Venus with my Lock I Needed an AR and a decent fusion rifle before knocking them out on my Hunter lol

Heard lots of yaddah yaddah about how this game is not meeting expectations A lot of the podcasts that I follow have generally said the same thing: Great base, excellent gameplay, gorgeous visuals but the social aspects are disconnected (no matchmaking, local chat etc etc) as well as its rich lore being taken "out" of the game and forcing you to go to a website to read about all these things that should be IN the game. Also that the game has Great potential but Bungie is shooting themselves in the foot for the sake of their "artistic vision". Now as far as players go, a lot if the expectations were a result of just not being informed about what this game was and with the amount of media they put out its hard to understand how you couldn't. And the Alpha and Beta were pretty indicative of what you were going to get. But then well... the internet... Personally I'm still loving the game, I am looking forward to the upcoming content and this game will be on deck for quite some time. |

Got my Hunter up to 24 and my Warlock and Titan are still at 15. Got my first Legendary armor item... nice. Still not done with the story on any character.  |

Another update
Currently lvl 27. Did Vault last night we didn't watch any videos showing how to do it. Took 3 hours and we got to last boss, we decided to stop for night and be fresh for today to beat last boss.
Also just got the exotic bounty missions for Thorn.

Still stuck on 22. I'm right on the verge of 23. I should easily be able to achieve Vanguard rank 2 tonight and if I can grind out 15 more V-marks then I get my first legendary. Unless I get lucky with the cryptarch before that (fingers crossed), then it's two!
Edit: All hinging on my infrequently playing friend not getting on and making play my level 6 hunter that we're leveling together. Either way, the weekend's coming!
EDIT: WOOHOO! I bought the Vanguard boots, which brought me to 23 and proceeded to crucible it up and got some rare gloves that put me into 24! It was a great Destiny night for me after a slow week. |
