I mean, what did you just play? What do you think? I picked up Pure Pool for the PS4. 9 bucks and change for PS+ members. 8 Ball, 9 Ball, Killer and Accumulation game modes as well as some bonus speed modes. AI opponents that will run the table on you as well as of course on line and local multiplayer. It is a GREAT pool game for the PS4. Looks great as you would expect. Not a lot of options but hopefully that changes. All in all a great distraction/party game if you are info pool at all. blog.us.playstation.com/2014/07/29/pure-pool-coming-to-ps4-today/And then went to play it and this happened... Hah!

Last game I played was Ryse: son of Rome. Been wanting to play it since it landed, but haven't been brave enough to lay down the paper - thanks taxman!

I have a pool table at home Doc, so while I am a pool fan, I don't think I can bring myself to play it digitally when the table is just downstairs. That would be the definition of lazy.
I just picked up the last of us remastered, and have been running through it. It's a lot of fun, even if a little short lived.
Other than that, I'm loving space engineers on steam. Who doesn't want to build epic space ships!

I've been playing a bit of Spintires on Steam. It's weirdly addictive. A little pissed at myself because someone online just showed me a super easy way across a body of water that has been the bane of my existence in one map since the game came out. There's a lake that feeds into a river that goes to a nearby beach, and there's three or four places to ford the river that are basically all traps. They're crazy deep and next to impossible to get out of with anything smaller than the 8 wheeled monstrosity. Turns out if you just go to the downstream end of the lake, it's only about 2 feet deep and you can just drive right across like you're some kind of trucking Jesus.

Did you guys see where today they just released a BETA version of the ps3 game streaming service? I kinda thought you'd buy the game and have it as long as you had Plus, but it's really more of a game rental system. Most games are about $3-4 for 4 hours - $10 for 7 days, $20 for 20 days and about $50 for 90 days.
A little disappointed at that, but then - maybe i just misunderstood what it was going to be. I was looking forward to having a small library of really good ps3 games on tap at all times. Not the way it works though. Still cool though. I'm going to be "renting" stuff there instead of redbox - still cheaper if you rent one for 7 days than it would be for 7 days from redbox.

South Park Stick of Truth is the last game I completed the storyline for. Now I need to go back and go for platinum.

PS - just finished Last of Us on PS4. Beautiful game. A little too slow for me - but I knew that going in. Liked it alot. I mean, it's no Destiny though...

Trying to fill the time until 9/9 w/ mediocre games only highlights the quality of the beta. Tried Crysis 3,pretty meh. Actually Hearthstone is a lot more fun. Also lots of Diablo lll.

The service actually works quite well but I was surprised the prices were not lower and there is no forever option. I guess I kind of lost sight of that becuase they were not charging anything for anything during the closed test. The games do load quickly and play well however. ALL that being said, I still say the best accessory for a PS4 right now, is a PS3.

I may Pick up LOU PS4 this weekend, I have the PS3 version but I don't have the DLC, and as a "birthday gift" from Gamestop I can get 50% more credit on a trade in so it may work about that the diff between the two is the cost of the DLC so it'll be an excuse to play the game again. Although I may wait and let my wife watch me play since the story is really good.

I just played it on normal. I'm not the kind of guy who enjoys constant "re-do's" of a level/area. Now, if I've got friends playing and we're working together - that's different - but when I'm just playing through a story-line SP campaign... I just want to move things along. I had to play that one area where you're in the small warehouse and the big monster thing is first encountered about three times and I was like "really? again?" LOL The second time I ran into one of those, I had a flamethrower though and it was a little too easy to put that thing down. PS - clickers give me the heebie jeebies.

I passed on upgrading, the trade in price even with the bonus for trading up was sad, I was hoping to get at lease $20 but they were at best going to do $12.

They do a very good job with tension and hebbie jeebies in TLOU.

Played episode 4 of season two of The Walking Dead.
Normally I don't get too into games like the TT games but they did a good job with TWD.

I played SaintsRow 4 for about 10 min before turning it off and going back to the Bungie forums. I've got over 100 360 games and a handful of Xbox One games and none of them interest me anymore. The Destiny Beta withdrawal has ruined me.

Playing GTA5 atm, not enjoying it as much as I did Sleeping Dogs and Saint's Row 3, controls are wonky the online isn't that great (WAY to many load times) and maintaining 3 guys at once is tedious. There are a half dozen smaller nitpic issues as well, but I'm determined to finish it at least! This could be my first ever trade in game though since I don't know if I'd ever play it again.

the first GTA I ever finished was 5. I haven't played the other two you mentioned though - so I probably don't know what I'm missing! I was really disappointed in Watch Dogs, FWIW
