Just thought it'd be cool to hear about your jobs and/or hobbies other than gaming. Trying to make a little content for the forums too.  I'm an unemployed construction Manager who took up painting to make ends meet. I was an art major in college but never got my degree. I spent most days painting or networking or trying to sell my stuff online. I've got art in three retail locations/galleries but in almost a year and a half, I have yet to sell my first piece through those outlets. I do sell a small amount online. I probably should have stuck it out in college and been doing this all along. What about you? |

I run the day to day operations of a small company who test and certify medical air technologies for hospitals and microbiology laboratories. (a mouthful I know, let's just say I make sure labs are safe when they are testing for biological nasties).
This means I travel around the country a lot, and will find myself away from destiny for up to a week at a time. When I'm home though, I'll be on a lot!

I'm an account manager for an industrial hose and fittings wholesaler.
I also have a small health and fitness business on the side as well as occasionally building custom PCs or repair/maintenance and I help my wife run her makeup business.
Throw in two kids and I'm surprised I get so much gaming in lol.

I am a HVAC-R service technician, the company I work for specializes in commercial and agricultural refrigeration. So I work on a lot of dairy farms fixing their equipment to keep the milk cold.
Before that, when I graduated high school I joined the Army as an Infantryman, was stationed in Ft Drum, NY, deployed and all that jazz. Was medically discharged in July 2012 for injuries incurred in combat.

I'm a teachin' Englishes' to the Japaneses'! No but seriously I'm working at a high school and I inform the students of spoken/real world English use. It's pretty boring and the kids don't try so my motivation has dried up. Currently looking for work in translation and or private lessons for motivated individuals. It's summer break now so tons of time to knock out some games. Working on 'Watch Dogs' and will go onto something else after that.

I work for a large dental coverage administrator, handling benefits & claims inquiries.
Before that I've been a jack of all trades, did Internet sales for Mercedes Benz, bartended, worked for the state of California...
Like spinoff, I'm prior service, having been an army MP stationed at Ft Ord CA, Ft Lee VA, & a few other posts
