Endgame content

So I just had a chance to take a look at ign's new video on the end game content of destiny, and it has got me really excited for the possibility of some amazing team play.

From what we are hearing here, raids are going to require some serious teamwork and to that end, I want to get a gauge of the distribution of players we have across platforms. Hence the poll!

The raids say they will require a close knit group of 6 to complete, so hopefully by release we can get together at least 6 people per platform so everyone has a team to run with.

After reading that, I'm even more excited about September, now. 

Hopefully each console can have a group of 20 or so - that way if people ( who mostly have real lives I would guess ) can't show up every night there is at least one team ( maybe two) ready to go out and do battle. Make that night or morning or whenever. 

I think it's going to take a large pool of players to make a team or two each night - because it sounds like once you hit level 20, there's not going to be much to do alone - at least not much that you haven't already done. I'm ok with that - but it's going to take a solid (and large) list of players to make sure you've got a team to explore or raid with on any given night. ( or day. ) 

I think the very best way to make this happen is to become real life friends with lot of people through Destiny Station. 

I want you guys to know that I've fully committed to Doc and this format for my MP experience in Destiny. I left all the other potential clans I've staked out - mainly because I believe in what Doc is building here and I want to be a part of that. 

We're all going to be from different backgrounds and beliefs and whatever - but if we can all come together for this thing - there's no telling what kind of adventures ( not to mention loot ) we can have.  

Doc, can you make some kind of "Introductions" sub-forum so that everyone can easily connect with each of us. A place where we can tell who we are and what we like and how we play - stuff like that? If you think it's a good idea, that is...

im on PS4, and my friends havent upgraded yet. so ill be looking to get together at launch with some people to develop team work and chemistry before we are able to even attempt the raid at end game.

I'm on PS4 as well. I'm used to the general Raid format from my long years of WoW addiction (3yrs clean and sober). 6 seems a lot more manageable than the 40 that I grew up on as it were.

I'm East coast and Saturdays are best for me, I'm a M-F 9-5 worker, I get game time in after work and before my wife comes home (quality time and all that) and Tuesdays I roll with an IRL friend who I strong armed into getting a PS4 and Destiny.
