I'm Juho, and you all probably couldn't pronounce that correctly at all. 22 old gamer for life from Finland - been gaming since elementary school, with whatever platform I could get my hands on. Currently I'm focusing on PS4 and PC.

Don't have much of a life story to tell yet, still in school and all. You'll find me with the same nickname on almost everywhere - if you see a DawnBlue, it's likely me. PSN, XBL, Origin, Bungie.net, Battle.net, almost every place I am at basically.

As you might have guessed, I'll be on PS4 for Destiny, so hit me up. I also play CoD: Ghosts and KZ Shadow Fall at times. For you US folks, Finland is up to 10 hours ahead of your time (PST to Finland = +10 hours currently), so don't expect to see me that much during your evenings.

About that name, it's pronounced kinda like "zoo-ho" (or hoe). Could as well just call me Dawn though

That would be 5 pm for me. Depending on the day, I might be online, with weekends being the most likely.

Hello fellow Guardians,

    I'm 8bitsquirrel but my real name is Addy. I'm 16 and haven't been gaming nearly as much as you guys.
The first games I started with were Spore on my DS and then on my PC and then Ratchet and Clank on my PS3.
Now I mainly play the Little Big planet series and creating games like Disney Infinity. Oblivion and Skyrim got me into this genre, lead to Portal 2, the Borderlands series, and now I'm here with the amazing world of Destiny.
    I love to find the secrets and Easter Eggs hidden in games and the fun and Adventure that comes with them. Si-fi and fantasy pull me in, more so if there's robots, aliens, dragons, or strange creatures of any kind involved. Lastly, I try to bring the gaming world to life and am currently working on a cardboard ghost of my very own.

    This is a great community and I can't wait to see how we grow!

Lifelong gaming geezer (I'm 43) who's super geeked for Destiny. A diehard SOCOMer since 02. Love Assassin's Creed, Diablo, & too many others to list here.

Never much for FPS, but the Beta was truly an eye opener for me. This game instantly went to the top of my must-buy list.

Hello people, my name is Dan and I'm 28 years old, single, no kids, plenty of nieces and nephews though haha. I'm from Minnesota, born and raised. Been gaming since the late 80s early 90s. Our first systems were the o.g. Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and my dad's old Atari. Loved geekin out to some Contra, Double Dragon, Sonic, Echo, and good ol Pong.
Currently lookin for work, so with my time I split it between family, gaming, and cars. Always been into cars since I was little. We always had hot rods around here, and out of my brothers and pops, I'm the one that's more into imports haha. Don't get me wrong, we all have love for cars of all types, but they've had their classics, I've had my imports.

Anyways. I love my gaming, and tend to lean towards racing games, although the last 10 years or so they've fallen off quite severely haha. So racing games, some COD, big fan of Borderlands series, some good ol Counter Strike, and was big into SimCity and the Sims. Uber excited for Destiny to come out, being that this is more what I expected Mass Effect to be like (kind of disappointed in the first one) which lost my interest real quick..

Hi everybody, I'm Blue (Real name is Matt) I'm 16 years old and have been gaming since I was around 4 on the SNES, then around the age of 5 got a Nintendo 64, then around the age of 6 I got a gamecube which I played on for a while until I was 8 I got my first PS3. I've been a gamer for all of my life pretty much and have played a lot of many games, my first FPS title was Battlefield 1942 and I slowly grew up playing other Battlefields as they came out on PC (I also had a love for Medal of Honor and the Early Call of Duties on Gamecube). I've always had an interest in video games and that interest has grown so much that I have been self teaching my self programs such as Maya and 3DSMax to further increase my knowledge on game development and hopefully join the industry itself (I'll post some of my work up on here sometime). I've made many friends at EA, Ubisoft, and Bungie and they have given me some great advice that I hope to use in the upcoming future. Destiny is the first game in a long time that I've been really excited for and I really can't wait to play the full game.

Overall, I love the Destiny community as like many other communities that I have been apart of for the past 12 years and hope to get to know some of you as well.

The Darkness is coming, we have one month to prepare guardians lets get to it.

Me real name is Ken, but I've been using the moniker "Meier" for so long that everyone online (and some offline) just call me that. I'm 26 and live in Atlanta, GA. Not married, no kids, Jack of all trades from Masonry to Security, I.T. to sales, and everything in between. I've been playing games since I can remember, starting with Sonic (then later finding and playing an old 2600) up till now. Halo:CE was what started "real" gaming for me, moving it from an occasional hobby to a pastime. I've always been a fan of Bungie and Destiny is like their gift to me, everything I've always wanted. Anyway, I can barely contain my excitement till 9/9.

I'm on Xbox One, though I may pick up Destiny on 360 to play with old friends as well (Ghost edition on Xbox one, I'm a sucker for Bungie, I already said). I normally play with a group of guys that I've known for nearly a Decade, playing 3-6 nights a week. Recently I've become burnt out on PvP and look forward to some good co-op with friends. When I do delve into online multiplayer I usually stick towards the top of the boards, but I prefer a fun game to a high score. 

Since the Destiny Beta I've started recruiting like-minded gamers (See: Not jerks) in my clan "Viri Fratres"
so that we will have a decent pool if friendly players to game with, especially for Raids. I like the idea of a small clan, no more than 10-15ish members so that we don't lose the feeling of "everyone counts". 
I'm pretty friendly and if you ever have a question or anything feel free to ask.

Let's see.  Who am I?

I'm not old, I'm 37 36, as of a couple days ago.  I'm divorced, my son is 10, he's an Aspie, and it runs in the family. 

Soon to be re-married.  Retired military (80% disabled), electronic musician, percussionist and vocalist, artist, writer, lover of film-noir, literature, and unsweetened iced tea.

Filthy casual.  I like to bake bread, drink black coffee, hang out with my cats, cook, and play the occasional game.  I think formal logic should be taught in public schools, starting in fifth grade.  I love details, but I hate spoilers.

I'll be on 360 only for the foreseeable future.  Looking forward to playing Destiny with those of you who stick around for the long haul, and with those of you who just drop by for a bit to chat.

WALL OF TEXT INCOMING

Hello all. GT: Cycloptomese on Xbox One. I just now saw Doc's post on the Bungie forum and decided to check out this forum because he made this place sound very friendly and inviting, as opposed to the flame/troll/hatefest that is the Bungie forums.

I'm 36 years old, married with a 16 year old son(from a previous relationship... I'm an everyotherweekend dad) and have been gaming for most of my life. I started with Atari and arcades (just madly pumping quarters into those machines). Dad was kind enough to buy me a NES which likely changed the entire course of my life. I exploited the 30 life code on Contra to the point where eventually I wasn't using enough lives in a play through for it to be necessary. In my neighborhood, if you could beat Contra without the code, you could pretty much start your own religion. Also, did anyone ever manage to land that fighter plane on the aircraft carrier in Top Gun? NES led to SNES. Final Fantasy 2 (4 in Japan) busted open the front of my face and drove a beer truck out the front. Before that, my only goal in a game was to see if the princess was going to be in another castle. I went through a weird phase after that with a Turbographx 16(Bonk's Adventure!!) and a lot of TSR RPGs on my old Tandy. Pool of Radiance was awesome. I eventually landed on the Xbox and have been a fan of Bungie ever since Halo: CE. Halo was the perfect mesh of Sci-Fi and extremely tight video game design. The Xbox 360 was so good to me that I was left with no choice but to fork over for an Xbox One, A fine console in the unfortunate position of being marketed by Microsoft.

Ive been looking forward to Destiny for like 2 years (has it been that long since we heard about this?)... I got the Xbox One when they had that Titanfall bundle. That was an incredibly fun half a game. Earlier this week I purchased a second one for my wife so that I would have a Destiny buddy. I took the week off. She did not. I have a level 20 character because this is my life. I started a different character to play with her. Last night, my foot accidentally rubbed up against the power button in a boss fight and I was taken out of our game. The sound of her screaming from upstairs was hilarious.

Here's where it gets dark. When I tried to log back in, it wouldn't let me. I then spent four hours on the horn with Microsoft support and now it's going to be 24 hours, if I'm lucky until I can use my account again. I AM DENIED ACCESS TO MY ONLINE VIDEO GAME SERVICE AND IT IS THE END OF THE WORLD!!! ... I guess life's not too bad, eh? Either way, I guess I wouldn't have found Destiny Station if that hadn't happened.

Anyway. That's my story. I look forward to seemingly witty banter and maybe some possible gaming as soon as Microsoft fixes my account. If any fellow Xboners want to send me an invite, I'm Cycloptomese in all places that I'm occupying virtual space.
