Just wondering what games people have played in the past.
I realise this is quite an open question but I'm wondering if any of you might of played Phantasy star online for the dreamcast? xbox?
It's been a while since i have seen a forum like these back in the Dreamcast days they used to be called YaBBa boards if I'm not mistaken..

One of the games I really liked in the past was a game for PC called TRIBES. Destiny really feels like a modern day re-imagining of that game. As far as old school goes, I go way back and keep a couple of friends from my past here in my office.  |

I've played way too many games in the past to name them all, but I'm particular to RPGs. Some of my favorite games/series include Bioshock, Final Fantasy, Skyrim, Wild Arms, Legend of Dragoon, Rock Band, Dragon Age: Origins, Fallout 3 and Borderlands to name a few.

I started playing mainly sports games as a kid. Then I turned to shooters when I first got my 360. Call of Duty 4 was my first 360 game, still one of my all time favorites. Love Halo, Gears of War. Rockstar games both Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead. The last few years I've evolved as a gamer and have gotten into RPGs alot. Skyrim, Fallout 3, Diablo 3, some MMOs here and there etc.
Some Favorites of mine just off the top of my head (not in any particular order except for #1)
#1. Red Dead Redemption
- Batman Arkham City
- Fallout 3
- Skyrim
- Assassins Creed 2 and Brotherhood
- Diablo 3
- DayZ
- GTA Series
- Call of Duty 4/ Black Ops 1
- Portal 2
- Rock Band/Guitar from time to time
- Halo, obviously
- Borderlands 2
- Resogun on PS4....incredible game
I recently got a Playstation Vita and am about to dive into some JRPGs for pretty much the first time. I played some Pokemon back in the day on Gameboy Color but other than that havent had a whole lot of experience in that genre. I have Persona 4 Golden, which from all acounts seems to be one of the best of the best in JRPGs, waiting for the perfect time to dive into that game.
I also own both of the Witcher Games on Steam but havent started them yet. Plan on diving into them this Winter before the third one, which does look amazing, comes out.

I'm an old guy, too. ahem. I remember 720 and "Skate or Die" and even the very first arcade video games like Asteroids, Space Invaders, Frogger, etc. and one game I loved that was graphically like Asteroids - but you guarded these triangle things from ships trying to take them off screen. I haven't been able to find out the name of that one.
More recently, I've been playing the COD series and the BF series - but it wasn't until Borderlands that I really got into any game with MMO (sharing, looting ) tendencies. I really liked the first Borderlands.
Also geeked out a little on the Half-life series on PC and the Thief series before they made this last (reportedly horrible) one.
I'm also a closet Angry Birds Star Wars addict. ( the only casual game I play.)

My all time fave classic game, because of depth and range of choice, is B17 bomber on the intellivision.

This whole thing started after taking a moment to try out The Legend of Zelda on a friend's NES for about a half hour at a friends house when I was a kid.
Recently I've probably put over 500 hours into Diablo 3 (vanilla & UEE). I have over 100 hours in deceased hardcore characters. I put quite a bit of time into Defiance. I'm a big fan of the Borderlands series and will likely be taking a break from Destiny to play the Pre-Sequel, especially since my wife adores the series.
I think my all time favorite was probably Baldur's Gate 2.
