How do I get the 5 strike no death bounty from ikora Rey?

It's stage two of an exotic bounty. First you need to be offered the bounty from the bounty guy (which is totally random) that requires to to speak to Ikora.
I understand this bounty gives you an exotic shotgun.

Lol I've been trying to get her to offer it to me. Don't know how it happens. I even did the 5 strikes with no deaths and nothing

I feel like everything about this games loot system is completely random lol. I enjoy the difficulty of ranking up but the randomness is so annoying lol

Getting the exotic bounties does indeed seem to have an aspect of randomness to it. I personally have gotten my exotic bounties when I levelled up my reputation with vanguard/factions, but I have also heard people say it is most likely when handing in many bounties at once.
The only thing I can suggest is try completing all 5 bounties you have before handing them in, and also try to level up your vanguard reputation or whichever faction you are wearing a class item for. I got an exotic bounty when I hit level 2 vanguard, and one when I hit level 1 future war cult.

I got that one. It gives you the Invective shotgun. It's not too bad unless you're terrible in the crucible. I think it's the last stage you need to have a 25 to 0 k/d spread. It's cumulative so you don't actually have to go 25 and 0 in one game. Assists count, but a negative k/d can knock it back a ways.
Edit: Also, the Invective is AWESOME! It comes fully auto and can be upgraded to regen ammo and significantly increase range. It's great in the crucible.

I feel like everything about this games loot system is completely random lol. I enjoy the difficulty of ranking up but the randomness is so annoying lol I agree about the random loot. I do enjoy the game thoroughly, and I expect the devs will be making a lot of changes to the loot system over time, but it is so annoying how it is! The funny thing is that it isnt, in all reality, that different than loot systems in other MMO games, but feels so wrong. I think it is mostly due to the engram system. I guess it is easier to accept getting bad, or off class loot when you know what it is. With engrams you get something, like a purple, and you get your hopes up. You run to the cryptarch barely able to handle the anticipation and...get a blue. I think the changes going in/already in (what time is it?) will really help with that though. |

Anyone know when that patch comes out? Personally I'm pretty upset about the nerfing shotguns. I actually think they are great just like they are, make them any weaker and guys will just come up and lock on melee you |
